Sam Smith comes out in his latest video 'Leave Your Lover'

British music talent, Sam Smith, just turned 22 and decided to come out with his latest video, 'Leave Your Lover.'

In the past few months prior to the release of his album 'In the Lonely Hour,' rumors spread about his alleged homosexuality.

On May 22, Sam Smith surprised many when he answered the rumors through a song 'Leave Your Lover.' The direct and explicit lyrics of the song "Oh, I'm in love with you, and you will never know (...) Leave your lover, leave him for me" was boldly transformed to images putting an end to all speculations.

One thing left to say, Welcome Sam Smith.

Saturday Spammin': Tom Daley and rumored boyfriend Dustin Lance Black

You prolly heard of Tom Daley's coming-out video, which is a big deal, at least for me and for young people across the country, even across the world, who saw that brief moment of hesitation in his video (click here for the video) when he says, "Well, that someone ... was a guy."

Why was it a big deal? It is because Tom redefined how one comes-out. Throughout the video, not one single time did Tom label himself... not as "gay," not as "homosexual," not as "bi." But he went with d) none of the above.

The reason why I didn't write a blogpost that day I saw the video is that, it's not something to talk about. I mean... yes, I'm a huge fan of Tom Daley but his "coming-out" video didn't change my liking for him, not even a bit. I also believe Tom came out not for anyone's sake but he just wanted to tell the whole world that he is happy. For that, he really got my respect for him... for his courage... for his choice of words... and for the love he's feeling towards that special someone.

To close that "coming-out" story of Tom, let me quote Georgia Mae (@Youcantfindme96) from twitter and she said, "The only labels I heard Tom Daley use were "happy" and "safe" surely that's all that matters."

Thank you, Tom, for the honesty and for inspiring more people.

Now, after the quick round-up of Tom's story... you might be wondering who the guy could be. For today's "Saturday Spammin'," you're in for a treat. Here is the rumored boyfriend of Tom. Yep, that is Dustin Lance Black, an American screenwriter, director, film and television producer, and LGBT rights activist. He has won a Writers Guild of America Award and an Academy Award for the 2008 film Milk.

After the "coming-out" video, Tom hasn't been shy to go everywhere with his rumored boyfriend Dustin Lance Black.
May this year, the Olympic diving hero celebrated his birthday with some rooftop cocktails in the company of rumored boyfriend Dustin Lance Black and some pals overlooking the stunning London skyline.

#TopStoryTuesday : Wentworth Miller Attempted Suicide Before Coming Out

Wentworth Miller, who revealed he is gay less than a month ago, confessed that he tried to commit suicide multiple times as a teenager while struggling to come to terms with his sexuality.

Let's go back a bit.

This 41-year old actor and Prison Break star came 'Out' as gay to the public by declining an invitation from the director St. Petersburg International Film Festival to attend the event as a guest of honor.

He wrote in his letter:
Dear Ms. Averbakh:

Thank you for your kind invitation. As someone who has enjoyed visiting Russia in the past and can also claim a degree of Russian ancestry, it would make me happy to say yes.

However, as a gay man, I must decline.

I am deeply troubled by the current attitude toward and treatment of gay men and women by the Russian government. The situation is in no way acceptable, and I cannot in good conscience participate in a celebratory occasion hosted by a country where people like myself are being systematically denied their basic right to live and love openly.

Perhaps, when and if circumstances improve, I’ll be free to make a different choice.

Until then.

Wentworth Miller

Tasty Crushie Tuesday: Wentworth Miller (During PRISON BREAK days)

Wentworth Earl Miller III (born June 2, 1972) is an American actor, model, screenwriter and producer. He rose to stardom following his role as Michael Scofield in the Fox Network television series Prison Break. He made his screenwriting debut with the 2013 dramatic thriller film Stoker, which stars Nicole Kidman and Mia Wasikowska.

In 2007, Miller denied to InStyle magazine that he was gay. He publicly came out as gay in August 2013, when he posted a letter on GLAAD's website declining an invitation to attend the Saint Petersburg International Film Festival because he felt "deeply troubled" by the Russian government's treatment of its gay citizens, referring to anti-LGBT legislation enacted the previous June banning "propaganda of nontraditional sexual relations." Miller wrote, "I cannot in good conscience participate in a celebratory occasion hosted by a country where people like myself are being systematically denied their basic right to live and love openly."
