The "American Idol" Top 4 results show was even more filler than usual, since nobody is put into a Bottom 3, since that would reveal who gets the most votes (though we suspect it's been Phillip for awhile now).
But eventually Ryan Seacrest builds the Top 3, announcing the kids who get to go back to their hometowns. Jessica Sanchez is put through first, followed by Joshua Ledet. Interesting. This doesn't seem to lend much suspense to the elimination, unless it's a surprise Phillip elimination. Hmm.
And then the final Top 3 member is ... Phillip. Yeah, no surprises there. Though good fake out, Idol. So Hollie's journey is over, which that's OK. She's good, but we're not sure she's better than anyone left in the competition.
What do you think, "Idol" fans? Did the right one go home?
