IDOL Finale: Jessica-Philip Match

Finale week of American Idol has finally arrived – but there's one more fight to go for the final two before the country chooses its next Idol winner. 

In one corner, you have Jessica Sanchez, who host Ryan Seacrest called a "16-year-old powerhouse." In the other, you have Phillip Phillips, a crooning pawnshop worker from Leesburg, Ga. Both faced off Tuesday by performing three songs each: show creator Simon Fuller chose round one, Phillips and Sanchez selected their favorite song from the season for round two, and in the final round, both picked the song that will become the winning single as the next American Idol.

And he's officially 18 years old!!! Woot woot!!

Thomas Robert "Tom" Daley (born 21 May 1994) is an English diver who specializes in the 10 meter platform event and was the 2009 FINA World Champion in the individual event at the age of 15. He started diving at the age of seven and is a member of Plymouth Diving Club. He has made an impact in national and international competitions from age 9. He represented Great Britain at the 2008 Summer Olympics where he was Britain's youngest competitor, the youngest competitor of any nationality outside the sport of swimming, and the youngest to participate in a final. In the first post-Rome 2009 World Championships edition of the FINA World Diving Rankings for the ten-metre platform, Daley reached a new career best ranking of number one.

He won two gold medals for England at the 2010 Commonwealth Games, in the 10 metre synchro diving (with Max Brick) and the 10 m Individual Platform competition.

Naturally, we don't get any results during the "American Idol" results show until the last few minutes. Instead, we have to sit through a rather scary performance from Elvira Lisa Marie Presley. Adam Lambert is also in the house, which is fun. He's a great performer.

An Endless Summer... (RIP: Donna Summer)

It's really saddening that another great artist passed away after battling with cancer throughout the years. My mom was shocked when she found out that she died and so was I. My childhood was filled with her music because my mom would always play her cassette tape of Donna Summer at home and I enjoyed it. Now that she is with the Heavenly Father, allow me to pay tribute to her in my blog by posting some of her greatest hits that I will never get tired of playing.

To you, Ms. Donna Summer, the "Queen of Disco", may you eternally rest in peace.

He began acting professionally in the early 2000s and became known with his lead roles in the Disney Channel Original Movie High School Musical, the WB seriesSummerland, and the 2007 film version of the Broadway musical Hairspray. Efron has since starred in the films "17 Again", "Me and Orson Welles", "Charlie St. Cloud", "New Year's Eve", and "The Lucky One".

In 2007, Rolling Stone declared him the "poster boy for tweenyboppers" and featured him in their late August 2007 issue.
